1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of lalore.net (the “Site”) and every purchase of LORE products made through it. By using the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

“LORE,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to LORE and its operators. You can reach us any time at hello@lalore.net.

2. Our product

LORE bars are organic dark chocolate crafted with extracts of four functional mushrooms — Lion's Mane, Reishi, Chaga and Turkey Tail — finished with sea salt. Each bar contains 15 scored squares of approximately 0.45g each.

LORE is a food product. It is non-psychoactive, contains no psilocybin, and is sold for personal culinary use.

3. Ordering and payment

The price of a LORE bar is $49.99 USD unless otherwise displayed at checkout. Prices may change at any time, but changes never affect an order you have already placed.

By placing an order you represent that the payment details you provide are yours and accurate. We may refuse or cancel any order — for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock limits — and will refund in full any amount already charged for a cancelled order.

4. Shipping

Shipping is a flat $14.99 per order. Bars ship within 1–2 business days in insulated packaging. US orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days; international orders within 7–14 business days, depending on destination and customs.

Risk of loss passes to you on our delivery of the order to the carrier. Chocolate is heat-sensitive: we may hold shipments briefly during extreme weather to protect the product, and we will tell you if we do.

International customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by their destination country.

5. 30-day satisfaction guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your LORE bar, contact hello@lalore.net within 30 days of receiving your order and we will refund your purchase price in full. We may ask what disappointed you — it is how the bar gets better — but a refund is not conditional on the answer.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days of approval. Shipping charges are refunded when the return results from our error (wrong, damaged or defective product).

6. Food safety, allergens and health disclaimer

LORE bars are produced in facilities that handle tree nuts, milk and soy. Ingredients are listed on every pack and on the Site; if you have a food allergy, read them before consuming.

Statements on this Site about functional mushrooms have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. LORE products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this Site is medical advice. If you are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or have a medical condition, consult your physician before adding any functional mushroom product to your routine.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and everything on it — the LORE name and wordmark, packaging design, photography, and text — are owned by or licensed to LORE and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.

8. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site: no unlawful use, no attempts to interfere with its operation or security, no scraping at a scale that burdens it, and no misrepresenting your identity when ordering.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LORE's total liability arising out of any order or use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at hello@lalore.net and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally — most things are fixable at that stage.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Orders are governed by the Terms in effect when the order is placed.
